Our Story
Tunog wasn't born in a boardroom or a pitch deck. It was born from too many late-night conversations between two people who couldn't stop talking about music, tech, and why the industry still treats indie artists like an afterthought.
Somewhere between "we should really do something about this" and the fourth cup of coffee, Aby Singson and Maida Barrientos decided to stop complaining and start building. The result? A platform that actually gives indie artists the tools, the team, and the tech to compete — without selling their soul or their masters.

Music is literally in her DNA. Daughter of '90s pop balladeer Chad Borja — the man whose tenor voice and hit "Ikaw Lang" soundtracked an entire generation of Filipino love stories — Aby grew up backstage, in studios, and surrounded by the beautiful chaos of the Philippine music scene.
She watched her father's era — when getting signed meant everything, and indie meant invisible. She also watched the industry evolve (slowly) while artists were left behind (quickly). That front-row seat to both the magic and the mess is exactly what makes her dangerous in the best way.

Maida Barrientos
Co-founder & CEO
Songwriter and singer by heart. Boutique tech CEO for 20+ years by hustle. Maida has spent two decades building digital solutions while secretly writing songs on the side — basically living a double life that would make any superhero jealous.
She's the rare breed who can write a melody in the morning and architect a platform by afternoon. When she met Aby, the conversation went from "wouldn't it be cool if..." to "okay, I'm building it" in about 48 hours. The indie music world never saw her coming.
